Your Verdentum member account is password-protected so that only you and those you designate can access it and view the member information relevant to your account. Ultimately, you are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information.


How Does Verdentum Respond to Do Not Track Signals?


Verdentum does not track its users over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to ‘do not track’ signals. Third parties that have content embedded on the Website, such as a social feature may set cookies on a user’s browser and/or obtain information about the fact that a web browser visited a specific website from a certain IP address. Third parties cannot collect any other personally identifiable information from the websites unless you provide it to them directly.


How does Verdentum protect children's privacy


The Website is only intended for use by those who have reached age 13 and older. By using the Website you are affirming that you are at least 13 years old. Verdentum does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. As noted in Verdentum’s Terms of Use, by signing up for a member account or by using the Website, users certify that they are 13 years of age or older. If you believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided information to the Website, please notify Verdentum at info@verdentum.org. We are not liable for any damages that may result from the user’s misrepresentation of age. All applicable laws are followed with respect to data collection from children. No sharing of data collected from children with any third parties is permitted at any time under any circumstances.


Third party website interaction


By accessing other third party websites through the Website you are consenting to the terms and privacy policies of those third party websites. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies whatsoever as we have no control over them. We do not have control over whether third parties track a user’s online activities over time and across different websites. We do not have the ability to respond to ‘do not track‘ signals in this regard.


How do I opt out of receiving messages from Verdentum?


If you prefer not to receive email marketing materials from us, you may opt-out at any time by using the unsubscribe function in the email you receive from us. Opt-out requests can take up to ten (10) business days to be effective.


Please note, however, that if you change the communications you receive from us as described above, we will not be able to remove your personal information from the databases of business partners with whom we have already shared your personal information as of the date of your opt-out request.


How can you access, correct or delete your data?


We work to process and accurately maintain the information that you share with us. At your request we will use reasonable efforts to give you all details of your personal information held by Verdentum, provided that we are able to satisfactorily verify your identity. We can only accept these requests if sent by email or letter, after which we will take further steps to confirm identity before releasing data. We will respond to these requests within twenty (20) business days, unless there are exceptional circumstances.


California Residents: Residents of California that have provided their personal information to Verdentum may request information about our disclosures of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Such requests must be submitted to us at the following address: info@verdentum.org . Within thirty (30) days of receiving such a request, we will provide a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for third-party direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses of these third parties. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year. We reserve our right not to respond to requests submitted to addresses other than the addresses specified in this paragraph.
